Sanskrit Lessons - Day 3

 Hello! Viewers of my blog! Today, we are going to learn more on Present tense on second person. वर्तमानकालः, Present tense, मध्यमपुरुषः, Second person, एकवचनम्, One. Generally for one in second person we use सि in the end instead of ति.  Lets get more into it.  Like how we say "You are reading" We say it as: त्वं पठसि  Lets see more sentences! त्वं लिखसि  - Tvam Likhasi - You are writing त्वं क्रीडसि - Tvam Kridasi - You are playing Like these, many more sentences are there for मध्यमपुरुषः in  एकवचनम् Now, lets see sentences in मध्यमपुरुषः, बहुवचनम् i.e. Second person, Many  Generally, we use थ in the end of the word. Like how we say "You all are standing", In Sanskrit  We say it as: यूयं तिष्ठथ.  Lets see more sentences! यूयम् उत्तिषटथ : Yuyam Uttishtatha - You all are sitting यूयं खादथ : Yuyam Khadatha - You all are eating यूयम् रुदथ : Yuyam Rudatha - You all are crying Like these, many more sentences are there for मध्यमपुरुषः, बहुवचन...

Sanskrit Lessons - Day 2

 Welcome back to my Sanskrit blog post, guys! Today, we're going to learn more of Sanskrit! 2nd Chapter: Basic Sentences. So, I'm going to teach basic sentences. So third person in Sanskrit is called "प्रथमपुरुषः" and present tense is called "वर्तमानकालः" We will learn more about this in later lessons. प्रथमपुरुषः वर्तमानकालः  We call one and many in english. In the same way, we have एकवचनं for one and there is one unique part where we have something called द्वीवचनं ूthat is dual. We also count things/people in 2 objects. Finally, बहुवचनं ैwhich is many.
